We are looking for someone who desires to have a big impact! The right individual for this role will love to think outside the box, be creative and wants to work with our venue partners to drive venue success via our in-venue marketing collateral and mobile product. In-venue, collateral is the signage and tools we give to our partners to aid them in delivering and adopting a customer-led ordering experience that drives operational efficiencies and happy customers. When venues fully adopt our mobile led service model they see more than a 20% increase in sales per labor hour as well as a 28% increase in check size. It’s simple – when customers do not have to wait and can lead their ordering experience, they order more drinks and leave happier. That’s more money for the venue and more tips for your waitstaff!

This role will partner with the busiest bars in our portfolio, account management, product team, and design resources to develop and drive our in-venue experience.  This role will not only own what the collateral is but also the design and implementation via our Account Management Team.  

Your Responsibilities

  • Own, develop, and manage our in-venue marketing collateral to support the adoption of our consumer-led ordering experience
  • Partner with our busiest venues to develop and test the best collateral to drive our mobile led service model and support efficient in-venue operations
  • Support our Account Management team to build implementation and training tools to drive mobile adoption at scale
  • Partner with our Product team to deliver feedback and suggestions to develop a best-in-class in-venue product experience that drives adoptions and mobile usage 
  • Manage the day-to-day in-venue production requests. This includes managing the timelines, budget, accuracy, and productivity of an outsourced design staff
  • Respond and manage requests from Venues/Account Managers that do not fit our standard process. Determine viability, propose a solution, costs, and manage development 
  • Help source and manage an outsource design team to fulfill the day-to-day execution of collateral requests with accuracy and efficiency 
  • Build and develop processes to enable this function to scale with Union’s growth 

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to build positive relationships while working across a variety of personalities
  • Design experience is required as is a strong eye for detail
  • Problem solver who can think outside the box and develop solutions that scale
  • Design experience is desired or desire to learn
  • Experience in working in the hospitality industry desired (we want you to understand our customers – owners, GMs, bartenders, and customers!)
  • Professionalism is a must as this role will be interacting with our top clients
  • 2-5 years of professional experience preferred but not required – level will be based on your experience 
  • This role would ideally be based in Austin, Texas
