Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional mind to become our Chief Marketing Officer. The primary role will be to drive strategic revenue growth through three distinct customers: consumers, hospitality locations, and the brands that are enjoyed through the union of our technology platform. The ideal candidate has b2b2c experience and is a pioneer, an entrepreneur that can think, have fun, mentor, set strategies and help execute them. The candidate will take risks, ask for forgiveness and knows what is strategically important as opposed to the noise of everyday execution, and does both well.

    • Manage all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics, and reporting

Brand Strategy

  • Continually evolve our Union brand; creating a compelling strategy and unique message to a hard-to-reach audience.
  • Work with our data insights team to develop content marketing that highlights our thought leadership and unrivaled consumer data visibilities. 
  • Own positioning, messaging, branding, segmentation, and marketing strategy.
  • Continuously refine and evolve both mature and nascent go-to-market plans with input from our sales teams.
  • Generate effective product marketing collateral such as product demonstrations, case studies, white papers, webinars, solution comparisons, to educate target buyers and influencers about the cool stuff we do that no one else can. 


  • Utilize market & competitive research to segment and keep us precisely differentiated in our target markets, 
  • Refine and improve the product value proposition using fun and creative ideas.
  • Use your strengths to position us as a consumer company even though consumers don’t pay us.
  • Design positioning strategies to carry out our vision in an industry scared of change
  • Align marketing strategy with our key stakeholders to develop and execute dynamic campaigns that drive growth for our segments

Product Marketing

  • Build out a full product marketing organization.
  • Listen to our customers to shape and help design our future product offerings
  • Fine-tune both the corporate and product story.

Chief Marketing Officer Business and Domain Expertise:

  • 8+ years of well-rounded modern marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility. Ideally a combination of consumer brand and/or hospitality technology experiences. An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but we aren’t snobs about that.
  • Marketing success with a high growth early to mid stage company is required. Marketing leadership for a market-making company strongly preferred.
  • Experience successfully running LeadGen campaigns, with quantifiable results in pipeline and closed won results.
  • A track record of managing and executing successful PR campaigns
  • Track record of building a metrics-driven, highly accountable marketing organization focused on measurable outcomes. Analytical expertise including measuring both lead and lag measures such as #MQL’s, #SQL’s, $ value of pipeline created.
  • Exposure to all facets of marketing, including Sales Support, Channel Marketing, Branding, Strategy, Messaging, Marketing Programs, Market Communications, Public Relations, and Analyst Relations.
  • Proven success developing and executing integrated business to business marketing campaigns, including goal setting, budget management and results measurement.
  • Broad knowledge of internet marketing tools and CRM data. Ideally Hubspot experienced
